The TAW RUBY is a high performance HD scaling
processor in the ROCK family that combines a limited number of Prelude
input cards (2 max) into the back of the
chassis. This enables the RUBY to process both
standard definition and high definition without the
need of an external
Prelude chassis. It is
also has the ability to add a
Prelude at any time
for a maximum of 4080 inputs.

APPLICATIONS
The
RUBY is designed to improve the picture of any HDTV
capable RPTV, Plasma, LCD, DLP, LCOS, DILA or CRT projector.

GENERAL INFORMATION
The RUBY has been re-designed implementing state
of the art performance. De-Interlacing is handled by the TAW
"Pixel Perfect" and "Judder Exterminator" algorithms.
Judder Exterminator reduces frame choppiness and pan studder to
a new low providing pans that are super smooth and life like. No
other processor can come close.
TAW processors are 100% software driven, unlike hardware
based products they are not limited to third party
chips. Our performance is limited by our engineering and

software affording an unlimited picture quality improvement
