Prelude |

The TAW Prelude is an innovate first for Home theater
video. This exciting new product allows infinite field
installable inputs / outputs for the
ROCK processor. Each
rack mountable Prelude can handle up to nine slide in
modules. Preludes can be daisy chained via an Ethernet
control up to 256 units allowing the ROCK series processors
to have infinite input / output configurations.
The Prelude modules convert any format in the world into
HDSDI and feed this signal to the processor via a single RG6
COAX (included). This architecture insures your processor
will never be obsolete regardless of new formats
continuously being invented by the industry.

GENERAL INFORMATION
The Prelude is for the customer that is tired of throwing away
good money on obsolete products every six months. At TAW we
said, "enough is enough", we are going to produce a future-proof
product that will insure our customers that what they buy today
will work on future formats tomorrow.
Regardless of format, DVI, HDMI, SDI, HDSDI, IEEE1394B, 10GB
Ethernet, Wireless or what ever the industry dreams up as the
"next best thing" you are insured to be able to use it without
throwing away your hard earned investment.
Most Prelude modules have both USB and Ethernet ports to allow
upgradeability and feature additions over the Internet.
Next years "hot ticket" and this years obsolete format
will be of little concern when you have the protection of
future-proof I/O from the Prelude.
